Climate Action

We use environmentally and climate-friendly technologies in our facility investments in order to carry out our activities and keep our carbon emissions under control. With the effect of increasing population and industrialization, greenhouse gas emissions continue to increase rapidly. As Akademi Çevre, we take the necessary measures to reduce our Greenhouse Gas emissions to reduce our Carbon Footprint. Our Integrated Waste Recycling facility reduces the CFCs gases in Refrigerators and Air Conditioning Devices, which have a Greenhouse Gas effect, to less than 0.2%, preventing the emission of these gases with a high CO2 equivalent to the atmosphere. In conventional systems, this gas is released into the atmosphere.

As Akademi Cevre, we take the necessary measures to reduce our Greenhouse Gas emissions and reduce our Carbon Footprint. While we grow regularly every year, we also publish our Carbon Footprint Report and keep our carbon emissions under control. We started to generate our own electricity by investing in renewable energy sources. Necessary infrastructure works are underway for the implementation of this system, which is currently in a pilot area, in all our facilities.
