Responsible Production and Consumption

As Akademi Çevre, we carry out all our Waste Management processes with the vision of "designing processes that will make sustainable living possible by reducing resources". In accordance with our field of activity, we carry out activities with all our stakeholders to reduce the use of resources. We implement Corporate Social Responsibility projects besides our commercial activities. These;

• These Wastes Write Codes” Project Electronic waste collected with this project is recycled at Akademi Çevre Recycling facilities and transformed into raw materials, and with the income generated from this, coding classes are set up in schools in regions that do not have access to technology. The project is carried out in cooperation with Vodafone.
• "Electronic Waste Mobilization" Project In this project, we receive the unused computers that remain idle in the hands of BSCD Turkey member institutions as donations to the project and include them in the repair process at Akademi Çevre facilities. We give the repaired idle computers a second chance and extend their lifetime. We donate computers that become usable to our children who continue online education but cannot access technology through various NGOs.
• With the Zero Waste trainings we regularly provide to our internal and external customers, we provide information on how to prevent waste generation. We provide the necessary information to manage the wastes at their source correctly.
• We organize informative trainings that sustainability starts from design. We organize workshops for the use of non-recyclable wastes to be disposed of in product designs. Instead of using primary raw materials, we encourage students to use waste or secondary raw materials from waste and support them in accessing raw materials.
