Interim Storage of Wastes

Interim Storage of Wastes

Wastes that pose a serious or potential threat to public and environmental health are classified as hazardous wastes. We are accepting cartridges and toners, cables containing oil, tar, and other hazardous materials, all kinds of metal, wood, glass, and plastics containing residues of hazardous materials in our interim. Hazardous wastes, which can be encountered in solid, liquid, and gas forms, cause an increase in deaths or irreversible disabling diseases and environmental pollution when it comes to storing, transporting, recycling and disposal under unsuitable conditions.

Intermediate Storage and Processing Facilities Requirements

Fire extinguishing systems
Cleaning systems for cleaning pipes, reservoirs, and containers
Sufficient absorbent, neutralizing agent to collect the overflowing and spilled wastes.
Whether or not a waste contains dangerous content can be determined by examining 4 basic elements.
Ignition
Reactivity
Corrosion
Toxicity
We are accepting interim storage facilities following all hazardous and non-hazardous waste interim storage standards and send waste materials collected at certain intervals to recycling and/or disposal facilities.

Interim Storage of Hazardous Wastes

In case a suitable place is not found for final disposal or recovery, or before being delivered to disposal/recovery facilities, wastes can be stored in intermediate warehouses to increase the amount of waste to a sufficient capacity. The waiting period in these warehouses cannot exceed one year. However, this period can be extended with the permission of the Ministry in compulsory situations. It is mandatory to obtain a pre-license and license from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry for intermediate storage facilities.
