What is Waste Management Consulting?
The Integrated Waste Management Hierarchy aims to ensure the sustainability of waste management in both environmental and economic terms. In this hierarchy, the prevention and reduction of waste at its source is the primary step. In cases where waste generation cannot be prevented, reuse and recycling stages are applied. A regular storage method is also used for the types of waste that cannot be recycled.
End-to-End Service in Waste Management Consultancy
In a process where the waste producer is jointly responsible from the point where the waste is generated to the point of recovery, disposal/destruction, it is necessary to know what needs to be done from the point where the waste is generated and to inform those responsible by creating a plan.
For feasible and efficient waste management, wastes must be managed without harming the environment and human health from generation to disposal/recycling. As Akademi Cevre, within the scope of the Environmental Legislation, studies are carried out on the prevention, reduction, reuse, recycling, and efficiency of natural resource use.
Under the "Waste Management Regulation" published in the Official Gazette dated 02.04.2015 and numbered 29314, the facilities generating waste are obliged to provide Waste Management and prepare the Industrial Waste Management Plan and obtain approval from the Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization.
