A team is formed to be responsible for the Zero Waste Management System. The people in this team perform the establishment, development, and improvement of the zero-waste system effectively and most efficiently.
Current State
After the team is formed, situation analysis must be done to establish a Zero Waste Management System. While determining the current situation all relevant records should be monitored.
Planning
At this stage, specific planning is made for each institution. In planning; Instructions are prepared regarding how, when, how, and by whom collection, transportation, temporary storage, and application will be carried out.
Determining Needs
The needs and required equipment are determined by considering each unit in the area where the system will be installed. It should be ensured before the implementation. The spooling equipment is colored following the zero-waste color scale.
Education - Awareness
Before starting the application, applied training and informative activities are carried out for target audiences. The target group should be determined in the institution includes that focal points, maintenance and repair officers, temporary storage area officers, cleaning staff, and all employees.
Application
The accumulation equipment provided for the needs is placed at points that all personnel can easily reach, at appropriate intervals. Information posters designed according to the equipment are hung on the equipment in a way that can be easily seen. Attention should be paid to the color scale in spooling equipment and promotional materials.
Reporting-Monitoring-Measuring-Revision
To evaluate the effectiveness of the application, monitoring and evaluation are carried out at certain time intervals and studies. The declaration of the collected and shipped wastes should be declared to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
